Howl is a turn-based puzzle/tactical folktale set in the Middle Ages, where a mysterious "howling plague" ravages the land. 獣の遠吠えを聞いた者は、自らも飢えた凶暴な獣に変わり、自らの遠吠えを通じて呪いをさらに広めます。 この物語のヒロインは生まれつき耳が聞こえず、この呪いに対する独自の保護を与えられていました。

Each type of beast offers its own challenges, with some approaching fast, while others taking more powerful hits or attacking from afar.
